I’ve had a soulmate friend for almost 30 years. His wife of 20+ years doesn’t like for him to talk to me even though it isn’t like that for either of us. I respect her because they’re married, but if he and I are in the same room, we just sort of gravitate right to each other. ~ Beth Phillips
Soulmate is not always your spouse, nor does it need to be that your spouse be your soulmate. Your spouse is your best Friend in life through thick and thin. A soulmate is one who’s soul is mated to another’s soul. Mate as in friend not sex. My ex husband , who has been my best friend since I was 16 is my soulmate. It was not until we were divorced and still very close in that we could sense the others state of being from miles away among other things that I came to realize he was my soulmate. I was fortunate to have found , married and best friended my soulmate. It is not a requirement for marriage however and personally I prefer it as a friendship having had it both ways. Very lucky are we who find our soulmate whom ever they be in our life . My cat Simba was also my soulmate , my sister called him my familiar. Our bond was beyond words. ~ Kimberly Ascenio
