It’s sad that as generations pass that young people think older people have nothing to offer but older people have tons of wisdom and knowledge because they were young once and had to struggle through many things the young generation are facing. But young people have to learn the lesson the hard way but some lessons they learn have no cure for except for death. So be smart and listen to those who have lived before you and respect them and their advice. Remember, if the Lord allows it, you will be old someday and hopefully you can pass on what you have learned from the previous generation. Hopefully there will be some kids left to listen unless they are like some today. Too smart for their own britches and think they know everything and disrespectful to their elders which in time will come back to bite them in the ‘tush’. ~ Marie Perkins Moore
Advise from elders is to GUIDE you, not to tell you want to do or to meddle in your life. Young people have to realize this. We do it because we LOVE you. If we didn’t care, we wouldn’t bother.
