I recently compared the last man I dealt with as I would shoes: it takes countless shoe sizes, shapes, and fits to keep one pair, so why is it different with a man as a lover or a friend? Even female friends need to fit, but it’s different. The man I met was not a fit, his personality was not comfortable to me, and mine wasn’t comfortable with him, so why push what doesn’t fit. Same with shoes, adding padding in certain places to force a shoe to fit most often helps for a short time and sometimes it doesn’t help whatsoever.
